MRA Group’s Spring House Innovation Park (SHIP) Bldg 4 Lab MEP

MRA tasked Trefz with a core and shell construction for this ~40,000-square-foot lab building. Trefz is in the progress of completing all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural trades to support the project. Highlights include extension of the central plant heating and cooling systems to support the mechanical systems, two new 36,000 cfm/100% outside air with heat recovery Air Enterprise air handling units connected with a fully accessible corridor in between, tertiary secondary distribution hot water pumps, a new lab hot water heating system, lab domestic water distribution, lab compressed air distribution, RO water distribution, polypropylene lab waste distribution, sanitary distribution, electrical gear and distribution panels, automated temperature control, structural openings for ductwork and a structural steel platform with stairs, platforms, grating, and handrails for the rooftop equipment. The project was streamlined using BIM modeling for coordination and fabrication.
